This summary is for quick reference; the full text below is decisive.

01Introductory provisions

  1. 1.1These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) are issued by 3DCenter, s.r.o., Reg. No. 19565119, VAT No. CZ19565119, with its registered office at Korunní 2569/108, 101 00 Prague 10 – Vinohrady, Czech Republic (the “Maker”). Production, collection in person and the receipt of returned goods take place at the Maker’s production site at Rozvojová zóna 508, 340 21 Janovice nad Úhlavou, Czech Republic. The registered office is used as the billing and official correspondence address.
  2. 1.2Contact: [email protected] (enquiries and orders), [email protected] (complaints), telephone +420 602 355 916.
  3. 1.3The Terms govern custom 3D printing and related services — preparing and adjusting 3D models, finishing and surface treatment, and delivery — for both business customers and consumers (together the “Customer”). A consumer is a natural person who enters into a contract outside the scope of their business or independent profession.
  4. 1.4Where the Maker produces from its own material on the basis of the Customer’s documentation, the contract is generally a contract of sale (Sections 2085 and 2086 of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, the “Civil Code”). Where the Customer supplies a substantial part of the material, or the Maker’s work predominates, the contract is a contract for work.

02Enquiry, quote and conclusion of the contract

  1. 2.1Prices shown in the online calculator at www.3dcenter.cz are indicative and do not constitute an offer to conclude a contract. No contract is concluded on the website.
  2. 2.2Based on an enquiry (form, e-mail or telephone), the Maker issues a quote in PDF. For each item the quote states the specification (material, colour, quantity), together with the price, delivery date, payment terms and the custom production terms. Together with the quote, the Maker sends a customer link to the interface at zakazky.3dcenter.cz.
  3. 2.3In the customer link, the Customer selects, for items where a choice is offered, a colour from the range available for the given material, fills in the billing and delivery details and ticks the box to accept the custom production terms. The Customer then places the order by clicking the “Order with obligation to pay” button (in the Czech interface “Závazně objednat s povinností platby”; Section 1826a(2) of the Civil Code). Clicking this button concludes the contract.
  4. 2.4The contract is also concluded by confirming the quote in text form, usually by e-mail. By such confirmation, too, the Customer accepts the custom production terms set out in the quote and these Terms.
  5. 2.5A quote is valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise; once it has expired, it can no longer be confirmed. The Maker provides consumers with these Terms and the pre-contractual information in text form together with the quote.
  6. 2.6The provisions of the confirmed quote, including the custom production terms, take precedence over these Terms.
  7. 2.7In the customer link, the Customer can follow the status of the order, the documents issued and the shipment details.

03Prices and payment terms

  1. 3.1Prices in the quote are stated excluding VAT; the Maker always informs consumers of the total price including VAT and delivery costs. The Maker is registered for VAT; business customers from other EU member states are invoiced under the reverse-charge scheme.
  2. 3.2The payment terms are set out in the quote — in particular payment in advance, a deposit, payment on handover or invoicing after delivery with the due date stated on the invoice.
  3. 3.3Payment can be made by bank transfer against an invoice or an advance invoice. Where the Maker offers it, payment can also be made online by card through the SumUp payment gateway via a link in the customer interface.
  4. 3.4Where payment in advance or a deposit has been agreed, the Maker starts production once the payment has been received, and the agreed delivery date runs from that day.
  5. 3.5Retention of title: the products remain the property of the Maker until the price has been paid in full.

04Cancellation of an order

  1. 4.1An enquiry may be cancelled or changed free of charge at any time before the quote is confirmed.
  2. 4.2Once the contract has been concluded, the Maker starts production. If the Customer cancels the order, the Maker is entitled to reimbursement of costs reasonably incurred (material, machine time, preparatory work) and, where production has been completed, to the full price. The statutory rights of consumers are not affected.

05Customer documentation and licence

  1. 5.1The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the models, drawings and documentation supplied do not infringe the rights of third parties (copyright, industrial designs, trademarks). The Maker may refuse production that would evidently infringe the rights of third parties or contravene the law.
  2. 5.2By supplying documentation, the Customer grants the Maker a non-exclusive licence to use it solely for the purposes of preparing the quote and producing the order concerned.
  3. 5.3The Maker treats all documentation as confidential — see the Privacy Policy (in Czech). On request, the Maker signs a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) free of charge.
  4. 5.4The products correspond to the model supplied. The Maker does not check the design for structural suitability or function unless expressly agreed (a manufacturability check is available on request).
  5. 5.5Where the Maker creates a 3D model, the copyright in the model remains with the Maker; the Customer obtains a licence to use the model to the extent agreed in the quote.

06Colour, specification and samples

  1. 6.1The specification stated for each item in the confirmed quote is binding — in particular the material, colour and quantity.
  2. 6.2Where an item says “at the maker’s discretion”, or no colour is specified for an item, the Maker chooses the colour. Where an item says “as specified — …”, the specification described there applies.
  3. 6.3A photo, picture or other reference supplied by the Customer serves as a reference for the shape. Its colour is agreed only if expressly stated for the item in the quote.
  4. 6.4On-screen colours, photos, the colour chart in the customer link and renders are for illustration only. The actual shade may differ slightly from the preview depending on the material batch, lighting and surface; glossy, metallic and rainbow materials change shade with light and viewing angle. Such a difference is not a defect.
  5. 6.5Colour and finish can be checked before production on a sample ordered in advance. The Customer assesses the sample in the customer link or by e-mail; an approved sample is binding for production.
  6. 6.6Changes to colour or finish after the quote has been confirmed are possible only by agreement with the Maker. Pieces already produced may be charged and the delivery date may change.

07Delivery date, delivery and collection in person

  1. 7.1The delivery date is set out in the quote. Where payment in advance or a deposit has been agreed, the delivery date runs from receipt of the payment (Article 3.4). Express production within 48 hours is available for an agreed surcharge.
  2. 7.2The Maker delivers by carrier to an address or to a pickup point throughout the Czech Republic and to EU member states. The shipping price is stated in the quote.
  3. 7.3Collection in person is possible exclusively at the Maker’s production site at Rozvojová zóna 508, 340 21 Janovice nad Úhlavou, by prior arrangement of the date by e-mail or telephone. Orders cannot be collected or handed over at the Maker’s registered office in Prague (Korunní 2569/108).

Used only as the billing and official correspondence address. Orders and returned goods are not handed over or accepted here.

  4. 7.4The risk of damage to the goods passes to a business customer when the goods are handed over to the first carrier, and to a consumer upon receipt of the shipment; in the case of collection in person, upon handover at the production site.
  5. 7.5On receipt of a shipment, we recommend checking that the packaging is intact and reporting any visible damage to the carrier; this makes it easier to deal with a possible complaint.

08Uncollected orders

If the Customer does not take delivery of an order — including a shipment returned by the carrier and an order ready for collection in person — the Maker stores it for 3 months and invites the Customer to take it over. After this period has expired without result, the Maker may dispose of the order; this does not affect the Maker’s right to payment of the price and of costs reasonably incurred.

09Quality and technological properties of 3D printing

  1. 9.1Visible layer structure, minor marks from support removal and dimensional deviations of up to ±0.2 mm are inherent to 3D printing technology and are not defects.
  2. 9.2A tighter tolerance (down to ±0.05 mm for SLA resin printing) can be agreed in the quote. The Maker provides a dimensional inspection report on request.
  3. 9.3Differences in shade between material batches and between a preview and the actual product are governed by Article 6.4. The visibility of layers can be reduced by an agreed surface finish.

10Rights arising from defective performance

  1. 10.1A consumer may report a defect within 24 months of receipt. If a defect appears within one year of receipt, the goods are presumed to have been defective at the time of receipt. The Maker settles a complaint within 30 days of it being made at the latest and issues a confirmation of both receipt and settlement of the complaint.
  2. 10.2A business customer must report visible defects, including defects of colour and finish, without undue delay after receipt and no later than 14 days; other defects without undue delay after discovering them.
  3. 10.3Defects of colour and finish are assessed against the specification stated for the item in the confirmed quote or, where applicable, against the approved sample (Article 6).
  4. 10.4The Maker settles a justified complaint by repair, by producing a new piece or by a reasonable price reduction; in the cases provided by law, a consumer is also entitled to withdraw from the contract. The procedure for making and settling complaints is set out in the Complaints Procedure.
  5. 10.5Statutory rights arising from defective performance are neither affected nor limited by these Terms or by the custom production terms.

11Consumer’s withdrawal from the contract

Products made according to the Customer’s model, brief or specification are goods made to the consumer’s specifications within the meaning of Section 1837(d) of the Civil Code. A consumer therefore has no right to withdraw from the contract for their supply within 14 days without giving a reason. The Maker informs consumers of this before the contract is concluded. Rights arising from defective performance (Article 10) are not affected.

12Liability for damage

  1. 12.1The Maker is liable for damage caused by a breach of its obligations. For business customers, compensation for damage is limited to an amount equal to the price of the order concerned; this does not apply to damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or to damage to a person’s natural rights.
  2. 12.2The Maker is not liable for the suitability of a product for a particular use where that use was based on the Customer’s documentation and brief.

13Force majeure

The Maker is not liable for delay in performance or impossibility of performance caused by an extraordinary, unforeseeable and insurmountable obstacle (power outages, interruption of material supplies, natural disasters and the like). The Maker informs the Customer of such an obstacle without delay and agrees on how to proceed.

14Governing law and out-of-court dispute resolution

  1. 14.1Contractual relationships are governed by Czech law. For consumers habitually resident in another EU member state, this choice of law does not deprive them of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence.
  2. 14.2Consumers have the right to out-of-court resolution of disputes. The competent body is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce), Štěpánská 796/44, 110 00 Prague 1, www.coi.cz (details at adr.coi.cz). Consumers resident in another EU member state may also contact the European Consumer Centre Czech Republic (www.evropskyspotrebitel.cz).

15Final provisions

  1. 15.1The Maker concludes contracts in Czech or English; customers outside the Czech Republic receive quotes in English. The Czech version of these Terms is published at www.3dcenter.cz/obchodni-podminky. In the event of any discrepancy between the language versions, the version in the language in which the contract was concluded prevails.
  2. 15.2The Maker archives the contract (the quote and its confirmation) and makes it available to the Customer on request.
  3. 15.3The Maker publishes any changes to the Terms on this page; a contract is governed by the version in force on the day it was concluded.
  4. 15.4This version (version 1.2) comes into force on 15 October 2026 and replaces version 1.1, in force from 1 August 2026. The Maker will send the previous version on request.
